Omelette with spring onion

Add few ingredients into an omelette and you will get a completely different level of omelette...... and the fact you fry it in a wok on a very high flame makes it even better.


Blend egg with a fork, add spring onion.

Mix chicken stock powder with milk and pour into the egg mix. Salt to taste and add MSG.

Devide mix into 4 parts. And one by one fry as follows.

Heat oil in a wok on a high heat, pour in the mix, dont touch it, leave as it is. Turn in 20 seconds, should be golden brown. Fry 20 more seconds from the other side. Remove from wok, drain quickly and serve immediately.

Serve with various Thai dishes with rice. Or you can eat it with baguette or as it is. Dip in a sweet chili sauce.


For 4 portions:

  • 4 eggs
  • 4 spring onions cut on 2 cm long strings
  • 5 tbs milk
  • 1 tsp chicken stock powder
  • salt
  • pinch of MSG (optional)
  • 4 tbs oil
  • sweet chili sauce

  • wok
